I'm Fernando Fonseca-Espinoza, a Costa Rican producer, composer, and recording engineer. I play guitar and keyboards in Lion with the Head of a Man and run Cariari Audio, a studio practice built around guitars, synthesizers, and sound for film and post-production.

svgarbear is where the other work lives. The project is built around sampling, synthesis, and experimentation — pieces that begin with a found sound, a fragment, a melody, or lately, biological data fed into code until something unexpected comes out. The process is less about composition in any traditional sense and more about following a material until it becomes something else.

The result tends to be music that lives among ambient, industrial, and noise. It's shaped by years moving between recording sessions, film sets, and editing suites, but not quite at home in any of them.
